Environmental work looks different depending on who is asking. A homeowner wants to know whether their family is safe. A contractor wants to know whether Monday's demolition can go ahead.
The first step is the same either way — we come look at the property, and you get the scope and the cost in writing before any work begins.
Request a consultation Or start with the free risk check.Usually it starts with a smell, a stain, or a leak that was fixed but never felt finished. We test first, so you are not paying to remove something before anyone knows what it is.
Option periods are short and inspection findings turn into negotiations fast. On any home built before 1978, lead testing is worth doing before it becomes a bargaining chip.
A habitability complaint or a unit you cannot re-lease needs documentation, not just a cleanup. You get the clearance paperwork that shows it was handled properly.
Texas requires a licensed asbestos survey before renovation or demolition disturbs materials, and the notification window is ten working days — so it belongs in your schedule early. We handle the pre-demolition survey and the paperwork.
Schools, clinics, offices and warehouses carry asbestos in pipe insulation, fireproofing and floor tile — and the work usually has to happen without closing the building. See commercial asbestos services.
Most of what we do comes down to one thing: telling you what is actually there, and then dealing with it properly. That means testing before removal rather than after, tracing the moisture source instead of just cutting out the drywall, and leaving you with documentation that holds up if an insurer, a buyer or an attorney asks about it later.
We are licensed and insured for mold and asbestos work in Texas, our samples go to accredited labs, and every project ends with clearance — not just a swept floor. If the honest answer is that you do not need remediation, we will tell you that instead of selling you one.
Our office is in Plano and our crews work across all four core metroplex counties. In most cases we can be at your property within 24 hours of your call, and we are reachable 24/7/365 when something cannot wait until Monday.

Environmental work has a reputation for being opaque — you call someone, they use words you have never heard, and a number appears at the end. Here is the sequence we follow, and what you should expect at each stage.
We walk the property, look at what you are worried about, and identify anything nearby that is likely related. It is where the honest scope gets established — including whether you actually need us at all.
Samples go to an accredited lab so the plan is based on data, not a guess. You get a written report identifying what was found, where, and at what concentration — the same document a lender, insurer or buyer will want. See our testing services.
Before any work begins you get the scope and the cost in writing, along with the timeline and anything that has to happen first — notification windows for asbestos work, for example, are set by regulation and cannot be shortened.
Containment goes up, the work gets done, and the area is cleared before it goes back to you. On asbestos and mold projects that clearance is documented — which is what protects you later if anyone asks whether the job was done properly. See removal and remediation.
Do not disturb it. Scraping, sanding, tearing out or blowing a fan across suspect material is what turns a contained problem into an airborne one. Close the room off if you reasonably can, photograph what you see, and have it identified first — you can start with our free risk check or just call us.
Containment, negative air, and a documented clearance at the end — on jobs across the metroplex.

If you can see the problem and already know what it is — visible mold on drywall after a known leak, for instance — you may be ready for removal. If you are going on a smell, a symptom, or a suspicion about the age of a material, start with testing. Removing without knowing the type, the extent and the source often means paying twice, and lenders, insurers and buyers usually want lab results anyway.
For most of this work, one company can carry the project from start to finish. Mold is the exception in Texas: state rules bar the same licensee from performing the assessment and the remediation on the same project, so the consultant who writes the protocol and clears the job has to be independent of the crew doing the removal. We will tell you up front which parts we handle and help coordinate the rest.
We work throughout the DFW metroplex, including Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton counties — Plano, Frisco, Arlington, Denton, Fort Worth and the communities around them. Our office is in Plano. If you are out toward the edge of the metroplex and are not sure whether you are in range, just ask. You can also check our areas we serve page.
We are available 24/7/365, and we can visit most properties within 24 hours of your call. Genuine emergencies — an active water intrusion, a biohazard situation, a building you cannot reopen until it is cleared — move to the front of the line. For routine testing or a real estate deadline, we will usually have a few time slots to choose from within the same week.
It depends on your policy and on what caused the damage, so check with your carrier before you count on it. The Texas Department of Insurance notes that most home policies cover sudden and accidental water damage, such as a burst pipe, while damage from gradual leaks, seepage or deferred maintenance is typically excluded — and mold cleanup coverage is often a separate add-on. We can document conditions and scope either way.
Leave it alone. Disturbing suspect material is what turns a contained problem into an airborne one, so do not scrape, sand, tear out or run fans across it. Close off the room if you reasonably can, keep children and pets out, and photograph what you see. Then have it identified before you plan any repairs. Our home environmental risk checker is a quick place to start.
There is no honest flat rate — cost tracks the size of the affected area, the material involved, how many lab samples are needed and how much containment the job requires, so a single bathroom and a whole attic are not in the same range. The most accurate way to find out is a short on-site assessment. You will have the scope and cost in writing before any work begins — just get in touch.
